ADB Donates US$115,400 and GH¢ 169,502 to 3 Health Institutions
The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), has donated a total amount of US$ 115, 400, GH¢ 113,400 and GH¢56,102.67 to the Castle Clinic, Tamale General Hospital’s Maternity Ward and the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital’s Department of Surgery respectively.
Speaking at a brief ceremony Mr. Stephen Kpordzih, Managing Director of ADB, said the government could not solve all the challenges that confront the health sector and as such more corporate organizations should also support in making Ghana’s health delivery system better.
The MD noted that the health service delivery sector remains a crucial part of ADB’s corporate social responsibility objective. He called on the respective institutions to ensure that the monies are put to good use to help improve the delivery of health services in their respective community.
Recipients of the donation from the three hospitals commended the Board and Management of ADB for the kind gesture and also applauded ADB for the contribution it was making in the development of agriculture and Ghana as a whole.
