ADB migrates to a high version IT platform
The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has begun operations on a new upgraded banking platform called the Flexcube Universal Banking System (Flexcube UBS) Version 11.2 to enhance its capacity for transaction processing and service delivery.
The Flexcube UBS is an integrated Banking application that supports both corporate and retail operations. It is tailored specifically to improve system availability and deliver superior services to customers. It also ensures improved efficiency, service availability and data integrity, among others.
The migration to the new banking platform forms part of the continuous fulfillment of the strategic plan of transforming the business systems and processes of ADB to deliver efficient, convenient, quick, and uninterrupted service across its branch network to its cherished customers.
As part of the IT upgrade, ADB is also implementing Internet banking to enable its customers to access their accounts and transact business anywhere and anytime using computers and cell phones. This is in addition to the introduction of VISA Card processing. By joining the VISA family, ADB customers will have access to over 1 million ATMs and Point of Sale (POS) terminals in the world.
In view of the migration process, all Branches of ADB shall close to the public at 3.00 pm daily until further notice.
